Right now there is a shortage of candidates in many agencies and a huge number of job roles available for people on the hunt...
The current challenge is finding enthusiastic candidates ready to fill the roles that are available. Traditionally job boards do a great job of connecting candidates with agencies and the process of filling those roles is a fairly smooth one.
But when the current market conditions are dictating that it's hard to find the candidates you actually want, empty seats at induction days do nobody any favours.
So why is Facebook™ so good at finding those hard to reach candidates, that are both a great fit, and actually want the roles you are advertising? (Ultimately making your clients happy.)
Before we go into that in more detail, we'll step back to look at how you are currently using Facebook™ to find candidates.
1) Posting organically on your page - this is how most Recruitment agencies use their page to advertise jobs. While this is good practice, in reality, less than 20% of your audience will see your post - not even everyone who follows your page will see it.
This is because Facebook™ changed the way your timeline is prioritised so that users will see friends and family posts as a priority, and business pages are demoted a long way down the scroll, so far in fact that no-one will see it unless they are a super fan, and engage with every post your business puts out there. Boosting posts - this is definitely a more proactive way to get your message out to new people. Boosting puts your post in front of lots of people. On the other hand, 54million people use Facebook™ every day - so it dwarfs Indeed (and pretty much everything) in terms of sheer size.
